Taking Action

Grasshopper Philosophy accepts that putting our thoughts and intentions into practice can be difficult.

To assist with this, Grasshopper Methodology gives individuals simple, functional structures that enable them to take clear actions in various aspects of their lives beyond health and addiction.

These structures take the form of:

Grasshopper is committed to three main methods of facilitating action:

  • Technology-enabled solutions

  • Real-world experience

  • Community learning

The program asks only one thing of its members in addiction recovery: to create a to-do list, preferably together with their program peers, family, or friends. Depending on how this to-do list is consistently executed, it can provide straightforward, actionable feedback.
