Please note that the Grasshopper Philosophy is currently under development and will be expanded comprehensively.

Grasshopper is grounded in Grasshopper Philosophy: our way of thinking about addiction, its treatment, and life.

It consists of four main components:

  1. "": This forms the foundation of our philosophy, as it considers addiction across all operational levels through the perspectives of all relevant domains (science, social, and spiritual).

  2. "": This is where we differentiate the distinct yet closely interconnected issues that form addiction itself ("Life" and "Medical").

  3. "": The principles that outline how we apply the philosophy on a daily basis to achieve recovery.

  4. "": The goals that get us to our achievement: recovery from addiction.

"Grasshopper Philosophy helps builds the foundational blocks first, enabling individuals to eventually assume a more hands-on role in constructing their own recovery journey, tailored to their unique life circumstances."
